I have been doing hair for a little over 9 years now and I love it! I work at Hairdo salon in Mesa Az located on Val Vista and Baseline. One of the questions I get asked the most is “what can I do to protect my hair during the hot summer.” Arizona is beyond hot and dry, which means that we are in pools all summer long which means trashed hair so here are a few tips to help save your hair.
.Use the least amount of heat as possible. Try to stay away from Flat Ironing, curling and even blow drying everyday.

.Don’t do tight pony tails. If you do to tight of pony tails you will notice breakage right where your pony band hits.

.Use a Shine Serum. LOVE Moroccan Oil. Its pricey but worth every penny! Use about a dime size on your ends when wet before you dry!

.Use a good Clarifying Shampoo weekly. Paul Mitchell makes a shampoo I really like. It’s called Shampoo Three and it Removes chlorine and impurities from the hair. Its perfect after a day at the pool.
